Boggy Bottom began at Winterberry Christian Academy on Marco Island, Florida, and now is at Marketplace Mission Learning Center. Marco averages 56 inches of rain a year - November through April average 2 inches while May through October average 7 inches. With up to 9 inches in one day, Marco uses retention basins that become ponds filled alive with tadpoles, frogs and soon, flocks of birds.
What lives in the bog when it fills up with water? Also do tadpoles die when the bog fills with water? or do they find more food?
