The South Watershed Journal

The South Watershed Journal offers a picture of the water management operations in South Florida. Their latest post offers the following information complete with graphics

How big is 5 million barrels?  How about 322 olympic -sized pools or 24,000 backyard pools.  How about filling the Empire State Building to the 25th floor (one quarter full).  How about filling Fenway Park (2 acres) to the height of the Green Monster (37.5 ft)  9 times once for every inning.
The good news is BP's oil well in the Gulf of Mexico is plugged.
